Family Day at Worwick

This year, the school decided to try something new for the families at Worwick Franklin Institute. They are all about pleasing the mommies at hagwons (private English schools in Korea), and they will stop at nothing until the mommies are pleased. It's not about the dads...it's alllll Momma. So this year, to make the moms happy, and to invite more family-friendly events, the school put together Family Day. It was a day where the students, teachers, and families could come together and play games in a few rounds of friendly competition. It was a pretty fun day, I'll admit, despite a few headaches (ie fires, unfair team distribution, time issues; all to be expected from my school....even the fire wasn't much of a shocker, sadly). The kids had a great time, as you can see from the photos below. I have included Cygnus class, the elusive group that Kyle Teacher hasn't blogged about yet.

Stealing the hats off kids heads has never looked more fun. Kyle participated in this with one of his students. He didn't realize that people were chasing him, as he was chasing others for about 10 seconds, which made for some entertainment.
