In Korea, there is a snack called Pepero. I've had it back in the states, but love for these little things in the states is nothing compared to Korea. Here, they have Pepero Day. On November 11th, the country celebrates by giving gift baskets or just small boxes to friends and family. Why the 11th of November, you ask? Well......11/11. The Pepero snacks are stick cookies dipped in chocolate, and when you line then up, it looks like the date November 11. So weird, I know. I was rolling my eyes when I found out. But the kids love it. A lot of students brought in peperos for their classmates and teachers. I got a small box of almond pepero from Linsey. It was another interesting thing I found out about Korea.
